My kids (boy age 7 and girl age 5) love the Elmer stories, they have a patchwork colored stuffed Elmer, and they loved the Color Me Elmer. I bought the Color Me Elmer because my son wanted a black and white checked Elmer that was in one of the story books. When my son opened his Elmer he changed his mind and wanted to color it with his sister. I didn't like the markers that came with it. The colors are light and wore out before the whole Elmer could be finished. I will have my kids recolor Elmer with fabric markers so the colors will be brighter.
