70's Slinky 10 Jun 2009
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
Rainbow Colour Magic Slinky Spring
After 6 months of use by my children (well ok, & me) it is still functioning. My children are not bored of it. It does need a bit of wearing in or gentle strecthing to get it performing well. It is designed to slink down standard pitch stairs, if your stairs are steeper then a 3bed semi/terace then it may skip a few stairs as opposed to hit every one.
Simple fun that never gets dull.

Doesn't really work! 11 Jan 2009

This slinky is too light and too short: it doesn't walk down stairs!

However, its probably a lot safer than the metal ones, for little kids.

Fantastic price , was going to get an origional metal slinky for my girl but thought it best to wait while she's a little older so this plastic one is just the ticket , I mean come on... Who doesn't like a slinky?

disappointing
Bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter. She loved the bright colours but this slinky spring is not long enough or heavy enough to 'walk' downstairs.

Complete rubbish
This slinky simply doesn't work. It is too short and too light to do anything. Complete waste of space, and I wish I hadn't wasted my money.

Good stocking filler
Very good toy to entertain my 20 month and 3 year old. Good job I bought 2 so they have one each!

Poor
I bought this plastic version for my granddaughter - it did not work - only went down about 2 steps on the stairs at the most. Read more

Slinky Spring
Colourful and interesting. I have however spent a lot of time disentangling the spring after my grandson has been playing with it.

Not a great buy.
This is nothing like the slinky I remember from childhood. It looks great but very light in weight and doesn't go downstairs like the old ones used to. Read more

Rainbow Slinky
My daughter asked for a rainbow slinky, so I got her this. It is exactly that. Actually it goes downstairs remarkably well for a plastic slinky, although just stretching it seems... Read more

Good but gets twisted easily
Good cheap fun. It gets a little twisted but if you have the patience and a little time it is easily rectified.
