definately not one to put on when you're doing something boring.
this commands your full attention.mellow, sparse, almost ambient in nature.
Lay back and give it your full attention.
An ultra-tight rythm section play just enough to compliment Sylvian's haunting vocal.Mick Karn is a bass playing legend, and this performance is a masterclass in not showboating your talent, and the gaps sound as cool as the notes!
the songs evoke imagery of vast, barren landscapes, yet remain beautiful but sombre in tone. This matches ANY Japan album.A lifetime favourite.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's Japan but not as you expect! 24 Feb 2010
Format:Audio CD
Although this is the Japan line-up, the music is completely different from their more well-known material.
RTC is one of those albums that rewards you with each listen and shouldn't be written off after the first hearing.

Great playing and a brave album to make at the time!

5.0 out of 5 stars unheard of 2 Feb 2013

This is a very will produced and recorded album. that very few people have ever heard. unfortunately the band 'Japan' never made it big here in America. But this album which brings members from Japan back together for a class act studio performance.
