This book has been read over and over by me and so many others .Why its timeless appeal?
Well,it just has everything;suspense (will they see their father again?)humour (Perks the porter)spine-tingling excitement(the train in the tunnel while they're rescuing the Hound, and saving the train from a crash!Wow!)
At the end it all works out,and you're so glad it did,because by the time you get there you will love that family and be happy for them.
And that's why this book will always be one of my favourites-I felt I had made new friends when I had read it,and I think you will too.
