The map is great but it has a few things that I didn't realise before I bought it. I wanted a map of Britain in its entirety but this one only has England and Wales on one side, and Scotland and the whole island of Ireland on the other. It's not the end of the world, but I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known.

This is an excellent map. It shows all the routes of all the rail companies plus their web sites and contact details. With it I was able to plan a rail trip of northern England and southern Scotland with ease. It will definitely go with me when I travel by rail in future.

The map is well made from good quality paper and, as far as I'm aware, includes all currently active lines, including some preserved railways. However, not all active stations are shown. This is very disappointing and there is no excuse for this. Ths scales adopted are good and there is plenty of room to show all stations, not just the main ones.
