low profile release
Strange release this. In agreement with the majority of reviewers here that the first 4 tracks are a challenge and the last 4 tracks are very pleasant indeed.

Radiohead - The King of Limbs
So, 'The King of Limbs'. Strange release, but that's not surprising considering its Radiohead. I disagree with people when they say the first half of the album is a challenge...

Expresses love and humanity in ten songs. From a disconnected viewpoint, obviously
The most startling thing about this album is how warm and human it sounds. The diversity of tracks is also impressive, from the stuttering drum-machine opening of '15 Step' that...

Not much need for another 5 star rating on this album, but I will give it 5 stars anyway. simply put this is easily the best Radiohead album.

If I could be who you wanted ......all the time.
Everybody talks about the brilliance of Radiohead's OK Computer album but for me The Bends is the greatest album not only by Radiohead but by any band in the whole world.

One of the greatest of all time
This is in my opinion, radioheads best work along with OK Computer. It has a strong alternative rock sound, but they put there own spin on it to set themselves out from the crowd...

Unique, moving, brilliant.
A friend of mine once said that Radiohead were the kind of band who it was easy to admire, and yet difficult to like.

Keep coming back to this....
The Summer this album came out I completely overdosed on it. I made it my soundtrack to a pc-game called doom which was popular around the same time.

Not one for the purists, but a good general introduction to the band
There are obviously many 'protest' reviews here for this album and, to be honest, I agree with the sentiment.

Good stuff indeed
I bought this album primarily for the song Creep since it means a lot to me from childhood, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of other tracks and even to discover that...

Ambitious ... but what's everyone moaning about?
Reviewers should probably start by admitting their bias, and mine is that I loved Kid A. Having I enjoyed Radiohead since Creep and The Bends, I realised with OK Computer that...

Tidy Package
One of the best albums of the 90's gets the obligitory 'Delux' treatment which smacks of record label cash-in.

The last easy listener from the Oxford giants
Pablo Honey always promised us that there was a hell of a lot more to come from Radiohead and luckily for those of us who waited for the follow up The Bends did not disappoint...

They keep on evolving
It has been said that this album was recorded to put off the masses so that the band could continue to record in relative peace.

Nice debut
Radiohead's debut is sub-par in comparison with their other works. But then again Pablo Honey would have to be a mountain to level up to masterpieces such as The Bends, and Ok...

nascent genius
'The Bends' is brilliant, 'OK Computer' is the masterpiece, and this 'Pablo Honey' - Radiohead's first - is pretty good, and well worth having in the collection.

Sit Down or Stand up ,whatever you prefer.
My favourite band, Radiohead, set benchmarks for creativity, musicianship, innovation, and irresistible (for me at least) strangeness with their previous work.
