Purchased this and the SoundAsleep Pillow. Not much to choose between them on sound quality. However, this item half the price, you can keep your favourite pillow, and it is less likely to be heard by your sleeping partner.

This is absolutely fab. I always start thinking of rubbish when I try to go to sleep but since Ive had this I get off to sleep before the end of the first tune. I use it under 2 feather pillows and since my mp3 player doesnt have a timer I use OHs cd player. When it gets to the end of a relaxation music cd I had free on a magazine it switches itself off anyway. I really love this and my OH says he cant hear it. Not just for insomniacs like me, you can listen to whatever you like without disturbing anyone else. Well worth the few quid it cost and the service is brilliant.

The speaker is fine once it is working but I was not aware that it had a mono connection and I have a Pure Chronos clock radio which has a stereo connection. This meant that I had also to buy a stereo to mono connector.
