This 9v cable transformer fits the DAB Pure radio by means of a small supplied slip-on adaptor. It works well and is possibly better than the original cable which is weak at the point at which it is attached to the radio.
We had been given a Pure radio as a present but found that it was very expensive to run with batteries. WE had put it to one side to try to work out a solution to the problem and someone suggested an adaptor, we were told what type to buy and found it on Amazon. It arrived safely very shortly after we had ordered it and has been very effective. Easy to connect, also given a tip to turn it off at the mains when not in use as this saves power.
The original power supply was heavy and so the lead wore at the join.
I ordered this having looked at reviews - and it does just what we want. One bonus is that it is considerably lighter than the original.
Quick service too.
Not much more to say as power supply leads can only do so much - not the most complex things for the user.

Well you can't really get too excited about a power supply but given I had a Pure digital radio with a broken power supply and batteries are really not a solution for digital... Read more

Pure radio power supply
The first one I received didn't work as the centre connector was too short. The complaint was dealt with swiftly and well and all is now fine.
