The copter looks cool and flies well, after the usual initial steep learning curve with these things.
Also like most of these small toy remote control helicopters, the actual flying time is short; e.g. for 15-20 mins charging, you'll likely get 5-10 mins (max) useful time. However, this is to be expected, given the power-weight ratio inherrant in a toy like this that is battery powered (charged from the controller).
The only big downside for this model, is that the small stub wings are very easy to break off during on the many frequent crashes you're likely to have. The main body holds up as well as can be expected, but you lose a single 'wing', it can affect the balance slightly.

Surprisingly agile and controllable. Great for hand-eye co-ordination and 3D awareness. Adds a new dimension to playing joystick games with navigation competitions. Far better than a video game for all their superb graphics. Battery life cost has yet to be established; might need re-chargeable ones if the enthusiasm for flying continues. Size of the helicopter is just right for indoor use; a bit sensitive to wind and breezes in the open; but in British weather, who's playing outside! So, excellent dimensional choice.

This item is incorrectly listed on Amazon. The title is "radio control", the item is actually the inferior infra-red. There's plenty of other sellers selling better items for a similar price. I'm in the process of returning mine now.

What a disappointment
This claims to be a Apache Style 3 channel helicopter 'by Thumbs Up'. Well, it wasn't - it was a Syma helicopter. And it barely flew, and certainly not controllably. Read more

Never got this item
