5.0 out of 5 stars Bartlett does it again! 28 Aug 2002
Format:Paperback
If you've ever read any of Tim Bartlett's books then you'll already know that in his field he is probably one of the most acomplished writer/instructors, and this book is no exception.
Building from first principles, following in a logical progression as your knowledge grows, the book leads on to special features and a last chapter (for those like myself who fit their own) on installation and maintenance. I bought this book before I bought my radar, and was able to use it to it's full extent almost from day one as a result. The book explains exactly what you need to know without being too wordy. Experienced users will also find it of some use, and I've gone back from time to time to check up on more involved matters such as collision avaoidance using radar. Overall I thoroughly reccomend this book to anyone using or considering getting small craft radar.
