Recording began after the completion of the Ozzy Osbourne shows on album number two, again with Bob Connoly in the production seat. It soon became obvious, however, that this time out the magic wasn t working and, via his son Garth the band s live engineer some rough mixes were sent to Jack Richardson, world famous for his work with Alice Cooper, The Guess Who and Bob Seger amongst many others. Suitably impressed with what he was hearing, Richardson was soon on board and work re-commenced on the album that would become Racing Time Released in September 1982, Racing Time saw the band head out with fellow Toronto acts Moxy and Triumph and, due to the band s ever burgeoning popularity in Europe and with Racing Time making plenty of friends there, Santers finally made it over to the UK to play shows as opening act to Brit pomp rockers Magnum. The wheels were really rolling now...

Format:Audio CD
This album is a forgotten gem. Melodic hardrock, sometimes bordering on AOR.
The title track alone is worth the price of admission.
