Nice juicy story. Short sweet read.

BUT:
72% of the file is the story. The rest are samples, I think 4 or 5 of them. ONE of them is for this very book! Naughty naughty. Overpriced, but the story was good.

I love Marie Harte tales, and this did not disappoint. I've just finished reviewing a menage tale by another author, where there's menage, but not on a permanent basis, which I didn't like, but this tale was different as the menage scenes were integral to the tale, and the tale itself ended with a HEA for the main leads.

Charlotte, a shifter who is not yet in touch with her inner beast, has just inherited the home, lands and totem of her late aunt. She's been divorced and screwed by her ex, and is slightly uptight about guys, especially when she and Burke, the male lead, get off to a bad start. Anyway, when she hears her aunt's Will, she realises that she will have to work with Burke to 'reveal' the totem, which protects their town of Cougar Falls, which is only visible to those of shifter blood.

She and Burke are left letters by her aunt, which they have to read and then burn, and they unite forces to save their heritage. Burke wants to mate her, and is already falling for her, but he has to mark her to take her into his Puma clan, or else she could be marked by some other clan and become a non-feline shifter, meaning that the totem will be lost to the town, and she will be lost to him.

So, he marks her, but to intensify the marking, his brothers also need to mark her, hence the menage scene. It was hot and naughty, but tasteful and integral to the tale, and all treated each other with respect. I liked how Burke did not really want her to be with his brothers, but did it for the good of all of them, as a one-time thing, and in the end, he and Rachel got their HEA.

This was romantic, hot, sexy and very well written, but with Marie Harte, that's a given, and is what makes the author a 5* read every time. This is a KEEPER!

I did enjoy this book, the sex was graphic and the characters were interesting. I really look forward to the next book.

Loved this, the first in the series, liked the idea of shifters from.different clans coming together to form new families. Will definitely read the rest of the series.

i feel that this book was a little too rushed because it kinda get's confusing sometimes and i feel that the *** scenes are a bit too detailed for my liking and or taste
