Rachel Cord is back! The follow up to the critically-acclaimed Life's a B. So Am I 'Life's a Bitch. So am I.' Rachel Cord, P.I.. Conary has a great way with words. never showy. Always to the point with no wastage. Those who loved the first book, will not be let down by this terrific follow-up. Perfect for the train journey home.

Ok, 1 warning before you even purchase this book. It can get a bit kinky in places and may not be suitable for the more clean of mind.

Now, without giving most of the plot away: A cracker of a book with a strong lesbian lead that doesn't fall prey to the usual stereotypes. The plot is suspenseful and cleverly written however it felt like the first 3 quarters could have been cut a bit shorter so the last quarter wasn't so rushed.

However, for the price this book is definitely worth a read for the price. I've already ordered the sequel.

I like Rachel Cord. No other way to put it. She's compelling and I still remember how life cruelly treated her. I had to know how it affected her. Wow. Not what I expected.

The first book was very good. I like this one even better.

'Couldn't put it down' and 'Page turner' may be clichés, but they aptly describe these books. I would add heart-rending, upsetting, yet sweet and funny too.
