I was initially really pleased with this purchase because it melted the chocolate really well and kept it runny...does what it says on the tin.
Sadly because of the design of the melting pot it was impossible to clean properly. The main part of the melting pot is made of plastic but the bottom part of it is metal. Where the 2 parts are joined there is an overlap which is minute enough to allow chocolate to seep into but not big enough to get a brush or cloth into to clean so you wash it and it looks clean and then you put it on the draining board and when you pick it up to dry it, chocolate has seeped out of the crack and made it dirty again...and repeat ad infinitum. I gave up after it was still seeping chocolate after being washed 4 times then soaked in the washing up bowl in very hot soapy water for 10 mins and washed again and it was still seeping chocolate. Yuk! Returned for refund and ended up buying the double one in which the melting pots are completely metal and its brilliant! Buy the double one!
