The author, Andy Lucas, is an exceptionally talented writer with a vivid imagination and a writing style that keeps the reader captivated. His descriptions of the Amazon made me feel as though I was actually there. It is obvious that a lot of care, effort and research has gone into this book as there is meticulous attention to detail together with an extensive knowledge of firearms and aircraft.

A seriously exciting read with a riveting storyline. Action, murder, assassinations, double-crosses, suspense and more. An exceptionally well written and cleverly plotted book which culminates in a roller coaster of a resolution. A real page-turner by an extremely talented and creative author.

I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read the next installment of James Pace's adventures, Skeleton Gold.

A fantastic book - the characters were believable and the story roared along at a cracking pace. The plot twisted and turned nicely but I never lost the thread of where the story was taking me.

The description brought the settings to life and the the author creates a world that moves from sinister to serene, and back again, seamlessly. I genuinely couldn't put it down and would recommend it to everyone. I am very excited that it is also the first book in a series - I am looking forward to reading the next book as soon as it comes out!

A MUST read , but be warned once you pick it up you will not be able to put it down . There are so many twists and turns to the plot you just cannot predict the ending

my first book by this author and I will be looking for others - I don't often read this type of book and found this a nice change.

A great read, so many twists and turns, action in every page, just as you think the author must run out of ideas and there are still loads more ages to go the action hots up even more! My only disappointment there are no others books by this author, but it does say James Pace novels, so hopefully i wont have to wait too long before the next one!

This is a pretty good thriller.
Not mega-deep & requires willing suspension of belief on the odd occasion, but many best-selling authors (in my opinion) have done a far, far worse job.
The fact that I was willingly able to take some of it "with a pinch of salt" but still forge ahead excitedly says a lot as concerns the quality... Just about all of the Ian Fleming (Bond) books require the same forgiveness but are nonetheless excellent, for example.
It was a fun diversion, quite original & I enjoyed it right to the end.
Unlike many low price/free Kindle downloads, it is a full novel in length (some seem to end within 100 pages or so).
A safe purchase & I wish the author the best of luck for his writing future.

I'm not going to harp on about the book like others do,buy it,download it....i downloaded it to my kindle for free....and i must say its a really good read...judge for yourself,it's free,nothing to lose
