5.0 out of 5 stars excellent techno bossa nova 14 Jun 1999
By Anthony E. Williams - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
I enjoyed almost every cut on the CD. If you liked "Sacrebleu" or "Red Hot and Rio", then you'll love this - especially if you're into brazillian or even acid jazz.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best swank party disc I own. 6 Jun 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com

Guests are always stealing this CD! It has great versions of classic lounge-jazz-samba-type tunes that sound just familiar enough to get people of every age and musical taste walking around with a bit more hip, nodding their heads and splashing their martinis. For great a positive lounge vibe, this is it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cheesy Italian Lounge Music at its Best! 9 Oct 1998
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
How can these guys play their horns so well with tongue so firmly implated in cheek? This is the ultimate party album. The music is completely goofy, but irresistable. You can't help but smile and dance. Horns and keyboards are all mixed up in a sound that might best be described as the love-child of Pee-Wee Herman and Robert Goulet. If you steadfastly refuse to take life seriously, this is the album for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars silly lounge songs 1 Jan 2002
By SCMLA - Published on Amazon.com

where else can you get groovy versions of bolero & the star trek theme on the same album? & i especially like the fact that this album is LONG (70 minutes & 43 seconds to be exact) -- you can just put this on & forgetaboutit ... yeah baby. so smooth. so silly.
5.0 out of 5 stars you've never heard "Bolero" like this! 16 Feb 2006
By Pink Noodle - Published on Amazon.com

This contains their typical mix of witty, silly, strange music (whatever you're mood in). My personal favorite is Bolero. Yes, this is the famous classic piece by Ravel! It's done in a 60s-jazz lounge style, with jazzy saxaphones swinging the melody over vibes and drumset. "It's a hoot" to say the least, but it really works well! Very creative.

They do a similar treatment to the "Star Treck" theme, making it sound like a romantic ballad the first part, then adding odd blips and bleeps on the repeat.

Every other song is also a killer (with a lot of tongue-in-cheek), listen to the samples and enjoy.
