I bought a cheaper torch but had to return it as it wouldn't recharge so decided to spend a little more and it paid off. When it arrived it was already charged, I used it for about 5-10 minutes per night and it lasted 2 weeks. I tried to recharge it but it would not work. I tried another charger I have and it works perfectly! The LED lights are not terribly bright but sufficient to illuminate the way ahead, but the spot light is very bright and I can see my dog right down the field. I have decided to put it on charge each week to keep it working. I would have scored it higher if the charger worked.

In the past five years I think we've owned five rechargeable spotlights, and none has lasted for more than a year. We find these spotlights ideal for walking dogs on dark lanes, so we use them daily for seven months of the year. But on each occasion they eventually fail to hold a charge for more than a few minutes and are useless.
Most that we've bought have been the 1 million candle variety, with a single bulb. After so many failures, we decided to give this model a try. And of its type, it's the best we've tried. It feels solid and well made, but not too heavy. The LED light feature is excellent. For most of the time it's all you need, which means it will last weeks between charges. The spotlight bulb certainly isn't as powerful as the 1 million candle torches, but it's quite sufficient for when you need that extra beam.
But yet again, ten months in, the torch wouldn't hold a charge for more than five minutes. As it was within warranty, I was able to return it. So in the hope that the next one will be better, we'll give this one another go. It's the best of its type, and with any luck this one will last a little longer.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I purchased two of these for work and being familiar with the energy saving attributes of LED lights, I am not surprised to discover that after a single charge these lights last for ages before needing a re-charge.
Not a lot more to say other than fairly robust case, long battery life and not that expensive for what you get. RECOMMENDED.

One of the better torches but still just above average

ok could be better
