My friend had this book from the library. I'm not a dog owner, but she is! On inspection this book seemed to cover everything a dog owner could need to know - even how to save a dog's life after it has practically drowned. Pictures are very clear. Book is quite large - but a handy, practical and easy to look up reference manual. I'm ordering it for my friend today. (There is a cat version which I believe is equally good.)

I bought this book when I was about to get my first dog, and I'd no idea how to properly look after the animal, even though I really wanted one. I bought this book and thought it was perfect for anyone who's going to get a dog. The Complete Dog Training Manuel ranges from what to do when you've first get the dog to your home, to how to train older dogs, and how to stop your dog barking... I definatly think that for those doggy lovers out there, young and old, this is a very handy book to have!
