I brought this book because my son kept asking me 'what is it?', and just saying bug would not please him, we both have had a good look through the book, now if he sees a bug in the garden he will look for the picture in the book then show me what he has seen, not bad for a 2.5year old!

A lovely book for young ones. Well worth the money, easy to read and encourages interaction. I bought it for a 5th birthday present and it's already been borrowed by a little sister. We're hoping to use it when the weather improves meanwhile it makes for a good read.

This is a really nice book and I combined with a 'bug box' and some plastic bugs as a gift for my 3 year old nephew. It was very well received.

Garden Bugs basics
This book was not entirely as expected as it is more of a 'story' book rather than identification. Nonetheless, it was well received by 3 and 5 year old grand daughters. Read more

clear, concise and good pictures
A nice little book for junior naturalists. Just enough information to get them interested and maybe wanting more as they grow older. Glad I bought it for my little boy.
