The bag really does fit upto 17.3 inches, mine slips in nice and snug. The slim design looks very professional and even when packed it maintains it's compact look. Very happy with the product, and would recommend it.

After shopping around for a laptop backpack, I settled on the HP RR317ET and it has never made me regret my purchase. The straps and back of the bag are very well padded making it comfortable for your back and shoulders. The laptop compartment has a smaller unit for 10 inch laptops and another for 14 to 17 inch laptops.

It has handled the test of time well.
