Book Description

This book contains all of the reviews of all of the RPGs I have ever owned or played and remembered about long enough to write here.

It contains review information on all of the major roleplaying games and I've also tried to review all of the Kindle RPGs that have caught my attention.

If you're shopping for a good RPG either on the internet or in the bookstore, if you're tired of buying subpar games (or looking for more) or if you just want to find a good free RPG book or adventure, this may be the book for you.

On the other hand my oppinions are quite strong (and quite often insane) and it is my hope that this book of RPG reviews is at least as funny as it is informative (or useless).

Includes Reviews of: Amazon Kindle e-books, Dungeons and Dragons (all editions), GURPS, Savage Worlds, Super Hero RPGs, Horror Roleplaying Games, Pathfinder, Sci-Fi RPGs, and more...

Thanks for valuing my (crazed) oppinions!

Game on!

Author of Challenger RPG

Oh, yes: Special thanks also to all the Epic People who helped contribute playtesting and reviews to my e-books and all the countless heroes and heroines who purchased my other e-book RPGs, you guys are Epic too and this book would not exist without your support, thank you.

This is a rather short collection of reviews for rpgs which consists mostly of "a friend told me..." which is the equivalent of buying a textbook filled with knowledge noted from that guy at the pub- rambling based off unfounded rumours.
it's only detailed wrt d&d and horror rules. Although the writing style is great at quickly disparaging lots of awful systems (wow rpg) it omits some of the more popular end (FATE,) entirely and glosses over others (shadowrun and VtM).

I expected a more informed review of more systems, but I'm glad I paid for this anyway because I enjoyed reading challenger.

Oh, and it doesn't insult FATAL.

The author's opinions of the various RPGs he covers are not always the same as mine but that is not my objection to this book.

The author said he was reviewing roleplaying games but what he reviewed were a few games that he has played and those reviews were brief. There are several games he leaves out completely and others that he mentions but admits that he knows nothing about.

Well, that is a half-effort at best. He should have looked up some of the games that are historically important, maybe talked to people about them, possibly even _bought_ some of them, done some research.

This was a very lazy effort.
