I purchased this to match a white wicker laundry basket that I owned already and I was pleased to see how closely it matched the basket.
This wicker waste paper basket looks great in a bedroom where it looks fresh and clean - although be warned, due the nature of the many different wicker strands it does collect more dust than a straight-sided plastic bin.
The basket is ideal for very light, non staining waste e.g. tissues or paper. However, because it is such a pure looking white I would be very wary of throwing anything into it which might stain or damage it e.g. empty make up tubes, bottles etc. A solution would be to put in a plastic inner liner but that would spoil the overall look of it in the room.
Pros:
* it looks lovely - far nicer than a plastic bin
* will match other wicker furniture or accessories
* made of natural and environmentally friendly products
* perfect size for a bedroom or lounge

* damages easily
* likely to stain easily
* gathers dust
* some sharp bits of wicker stick out where the strand has been finished off
