I have held a fascination with such subject matters as this for such a long time, so when I got the chance in a cheap book shop to buy this new and in hardback, I thought okay and started to read.
Whilst in some ways I agree with the other sentiments in the other reviews, I personally loved it and was able to recommend its usage in a Theology degree student's essay on a similar subject. And she passed as well with favourable comments from the tutor about using such a book as this.
For the avid fan of all such things, as I am, this is a worthy read. I say it is "remarkable" for I can read into this and see the possibility [only in its merest form] of what the authors are saying.
For someone searching for ideas on the subject matter it is equally rewarding too. And although it may not necessarily cover certain areas, dependent on who is reading/searching etc, it was and is a remarkable read in my opinion.
Once read I then sold mine on ebay and made one heck of a profit as well, so doubly impressed with my hardback copy.

the first impression i've got after i read this book that the readers somehow were being thrown off the scent because the title of this book was covered mainly in the last chapter titled t''he st clairs of rosslyn'' wherein rooslyn's family brief history was covered in summary and the possibility of their hidden treasure.

I thought there would be more on Rosslyn Chapel, after all, that is the books title. I found more information in books on the Templars, The Sign and the seal, etc.
