In summary - a great value, great sounding kit which is compact and portable. If like me you were a typical acoustic drummer (loving my maple Pearl Masters kit) and never even considering anything electronic as it never felt or sounded right. However a house move and close proximity neighbours (and me not wanting to be a neighbour from hell) forced me to consider the change! I didnt want to give up. I tried one of these for a laugh in a shop and was blown away by the simple set up and the great sounds it produces for the price. Yes it has some silly beeping sounds you will never use (the kids love them though) and yes the feel is different but you quickly get used to it. But the basic dry kit and rock kit sound great and I was thrilled when I realised you could even get a double bass sound! Wow. Easy to play. Easy to set up. You find yourself getting lost in the headphones as it can sound like your playing in a stadium through a PA! A brilliant feature is to play along to your IPOD which connects with just one cable. Last night I played live drums to my live Faithless CD and various accoustic versions of songs with no drums. Small and compact so it tucks away really easily. Easy to transport. A tip is to buy the Roland drum monitor with it as it enables you to practive along with an accoustic guitar or low volume electric bringing band practice into your home at the volume of a stereo. In summary I say very happy and an electronic convert - so much quicker to put up and tear down than my Pearl
