The cable arrived quickly and well packaged. It feels strong and not easily broken.

thin cable, money would be much better spent at maplin to get a more durable cable. suitable however if you just plan to run this the length of a boom arm
The cable itself is very good quality. Unfortunately very very bad value for money. Equivalent cables are on the market for £3, it seems they are taking advantage of their customers by not including the extension in the package and leading them into a trap. This is sadly yet another example where a company raises the price of the accessory of a product far greater that its true value. If you realise there are better deals elsewhere on amazon and still buy it, then you have too much money.

Excellent build and works a charm
I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ100 and my camera mic socket is a 2.5mm. I got an adapter from maplin to put the Rode VideoMic into the camera's hot shoe. Worked perfectly. Read more

While only a simple cable and so not a lot to say it is good quality, fairly thick, feels like it will last. Has a short curled section to allow for the odd trip over the wire. Read more
