These CAT5 cable conectors are used on the ends of network cables to plug into an ethernet port on a pc, router or othet network device to form a network connection. If you want to build your own LAN wired network, this is a must. You could go through the first few just for practicing the crimping, so a few spare ones never hurt. Each time you make a mistake, you'd have to chop of the connector and start again because these are not reusable.

Excellant Value, Do not forget to order the boots as well to make a nice finish!
You also need the RJ45 Crimp Tool and good eyesight to make a good connection althrough I got it right first time (more by Luck then judgement, you can get the correct colour connections off the internet for these leads.

They Do the Job But aren't the Best

Poor Quality
I have to agree with Geezer,
These are cheap but not the best plugs. In some of our devices the plug fails to lock in place. Perhaps they are a mm or so out? Read more

work lovely very cheap at 4p each much cheaper than others would recomend. connections work every time have done 50 so far seem to work fine with solid or stranded cat5e cable. Read more
