I don't know what gigantor is talking about but these headphones fit me just fine. And I've now had them for 4 months with no issues. The headphones are comfortable and they sound great. And I'm not tiny, 6 foot 1, size 11 shoes, although my ears are not the largest in the world. If you played tighthead prop for several years you may need to look elsewhere, but for the rest of us and for the money these are great.

I really like these headphones, I love the build quality, finish and detail. The first time I listened to them I was really pleased with the sound quality, sounding better than my Sennheiser HD202's which are supposed to be rated better sounding heasdphones!, so my first impressions of these RHA CA-200's are really good. Oh and they are really comfy to wear, again more comfy than my Sennheiser 202's. I will update after some usage time and see how they compare to my Sennheisers.

Maybe I've been spoilt by years of moderately good music equipment, maybe being a musician makes me extra picky; whatever the case, after (plenty of) playing-in, I find that I simply don't enjoy listening to things using these headphones.

I bought these on the basis of reviews of other products by this company, and to give a new-ish name a try. They were bought at a very low price point - so low it seems almost churlish to quibble about their quality; but it has to be said that the sound is very enclosed and constricted, the build very unimpressive, and the cable (which goes to both ears) is terribly noisy. I bought some Sennheiser headphones for not that much more money that provide a much higher quality of sound.

The only possible advice I can give is to spend a bit more than you would on these - the difference in sound will probably be worth it.

I originally bought a set of RHA headphones a few years ago for a Christmas present - this guy is a huge fan of music that has a lot of bass and needs a good set of speakers/headphones to enjoy properly. I had to choose between a few Sennheiser sets, a couple from Sony and these. I can't remember where I originally read about them, but as they sold them at HMV at the time (and were around 75% cheaper than the others!), I decided on these.

Now unfortunately, I am not an audiophile. I can't tell you how incredible these headphones are in "technical" terms. What I can say, is that to my simple ears, these headphones are a rival to those worth a lot more. Firstly, the sound is incredible. I've heard things in songs since listening with these headphones that I never heard before. It is rich, the bass is wonderful. The noise cancelling is also great, you cannot hear anything else other than the music when you've got them on.

They look quite sleek as well, available in black and white. The wires are anti-tangle, which is ideal when you're on the move. They're quite large, meaning they may not be ideal for someone who wants to save space on the move, but the ear pieces do come off as well. They're also very comfortable and after a while, you completely forget you have a pair of headphones on!

I loved them so much that I had to buy a pair for myself and was delighted to find that they were less than half what I originally paid on Amazon. They came within a couple of days too, despite the fact I only paid for standard shipping.

They also come with a three year warranty, which I can vouch for. The wire on our first pair of earphones stopped working after about a year or so and I didn't have the receipt.

The best value for money headphones on the market, which are comfortable, produce an amplified sound and does not leak sound, with a 3 year guarantee to top the deal. Having been loyal to Sennheisers for at least 25 years I am glad to purchase a product where the designers/manufacturers recognise failures ( tangled or broken headphone cords, failure of jack at ear piece ) in a global product and have attempted to design out these idosyncrasies. I've bought 2 pairs of CA 200's and recommended these to friends.

Good: Great sound straight from the box, detachable woven fabric cable (tangles less, easy to untangle), extremely lightweight, very comfortable, very affordable, from a British (Glasgow-based) company (always happy to support a local business!)

Bad: slightly fidgety adjustment mechanism, two cables into cans instead of one (both very minor issues), padding may be a problem for people with massive ears (not sure though - could be fine).

Overall fantastic headphones for the price, not quite sure how they managed it to be honest. If these are still cheaper than the black ones then it's even more of a steal! And don't let the colour put you off - have fun with it! See the video for my Mighty Boosh inspired design. any waterproof pen / permanent marker will do the trick.

Would recommend these to anyone looking for a very decent set of under-priced headphones - don't think I've heard better for less than £50.
