Received my trigger this morning just two days after ordering. The Chinese/Anglo instructions leave a little to be desired but, quite frankly, you don't need them. Just put the batteries in (supplied) and connect to camera and, in my case, studio flash, set the same channel on each unit, turn the receiver on and start shooting. Worked with flash and as a camera trigger first time, every time even through three brick walls. I have used IR triggers (four in all) up to now and they've all failed after a short time. This unit seems a fantastic bargain at the price. Highly recommended.

After a lot of research this came out as the best option if the Pocket Wizard is not an option. It's made well, works just as described and can be easily added on to when you need more receivers or cords.
It also works great through walls and I could even trigger the shutter with the camera downstairs and myself upstairs in another room - although that's not exactly the norm; but does show the level of sensitivity.
Another great aspect is that I can place the transmitter on one camera and the receiver on another camera and when I release the transmitter camera it will simultaneously fire the receiver camera too. With this option you can set up one camera with a receiver on a tripod and have the transmitter camera in hand and be basically taking photos with 2 cameras from different angles.
Highly recommended.

This remote works well and efficiently . The batteries used are standard ones and easy to recharge or replace. The remote can be made to sync with the camera or with the flash and all the connections seem to be universal so old non auto flashes work as well as modern ones. This is a good value item and I recommend it for versatile uses in photography.
