Format:Audio CD
A wonderful double CD. I bought this on the back of the Late Night Tales compilation Late Night Tales - Trentemøller [+Digital Booklet] - anyone with music taste that cool must be making great records. And how right I was - this CD rocks - my music collection has needed a new favourite sound for a while and here it is - interesting mix of familiar tunes - Franz Ferdinand, Depeche Mode, Efterklang - and new pieces (or remixed pieces from his other albums). And these are not just remixes - but reworkings in the proper musical sense of the term. The music is on the indie end of electronica, with a good bit of gothic and dubby beats and some melodramatic chord changes, but it seems like just the thing for dark winter days. I guess the remix of 'All Night Long' might be a bit of a poppy choice for a remix and what the previous reviewer is moaning about. If you like eclectic, intelligent electronica this record is for you Trentemoller has been on my stereo on repeat for the last week - and it deepens with every listen - can't see it going anywhere soon.

Double cd remix album which is too dance orientated for my liking. Its a tad poppy and more upbeat than his previous works (if you like the horrendous radiohead remix album then this may float your boat). This lacks edge and the dark overtones and vibes from his recent work. Maybe I felt spoilt having listening to "late night tales" and "into the great wide yonder" for so long. Certainly nowhere near as good as those albums. All in all, the weakest Trentemoller work yet.
