The product might look flimsy when you receive it, but beassured that it is an excellent buy. My audio equipment is expensive and this product serves it well. I have no loss in signal and no distortion on my high frequency gain, compared to my old leads. I will buy from this seller again. Thanks guys :)

I use phono plugs on my D.J. equipment. On a mobile basis plugging and un plugging them means they don't last long. These are very goog plugs at a great price, cheaper and quality built.Wished i'd have found these years ago.

I had these leads a while back to connect up the TV to the DVD audio input as this had better speakers. There is no crackling or distortion and I can't detect any loss in sound quality. The leads are not the best quality, but they are cheap and they do the job they are designed for. Very happy with them.

I was unable to obtain this item from a national high street retailer, but this item did the job, augmented by prompt service delivery - all round, excellent!

Like quite a few of the other reviewers, I saw the bad feedback and assumed that they must have been unlucky - so purchased them anyway. I plugged them into my amp & Sonos system, and only one speaker worked. I spent a good few minutes checking the amp and connections, and trying different combinations before realising that the cable was the issue.

Rarther than buy this cable, I'd advise anyone to walk into Robert Dyas, and buy one (only a quid more and it works!).

I'm unconvinced about the amount of gold plating, but in my personal view the performance difference between gold plated and ordinary audio connectors is vastly overrated. Nor am I sure that they would stand up to repeated plugging and unplugging in, say, a mobile disc-jockey environment. But, as a fit and forget item for the price of a couple of mouthfuls of beer, they are unbeatable.

Although the RCA plug/socket started life as an audio connector, some equipment uses the standard for other signals as well, notably video. Colour codes are used to identify the sockets; typically red and white for stereo audio and yellow for video. I risk stating the obvious by saying that you would connect the black plug into the white socket.

OK so basically right before I went to play a gig I removed the cables out of my mixer and a very thin weak metal plate of the cable pulled off and actually got stuck inside the one of the ports. Didn't have time to remove it so I had to wedge it in further. Don't buy if your frequently moving these cables in and out of anything.
