Received the book today and have yet to read it in depth so do not know what the content is likely to be. If, however, the content matches the cover of the book, then there might be problems. The front cover of the book reveals the title to be RAF Strike Command 1968-2007. The spine of the book states that it is RAF Strike Command 1968-2001!! Come on editors!!. Also inside the book at the rear, where it compares the strengths of Strike Command in 1968 and 2007(1) it reveals that 617 Squadron are flying the Tornado F3!!! Oops! I will report more fully once I have read the book in detail. Watch this space.

Agree with earlier reviewer that more care should have been taken by the editor/publisher with the discrepancy between front and spine titles. Otherwise a, clearly, well researched book but very difficult to read as it is in most parts a list of aircraft, bases and squadrons rather than a book designed for sitting down for a couple of hours of relaxation. However, for any RAF buff well worth looking at.
