R. J. Dent

R J Dent is a poet, novelist and translator. His most recent book is an English translation of the ancient Greek Poems & Fragments of Alcaeus. His other works include: Myth, a novel; Deliverance, a controversial Gothic novella about Victorian matricide and cannibalism; and Moonstone Silhouettes, a poetry collection. His translations include Le Comte de Lautreamont's The Songs of Maldoror, and Charles Baudelaire's The Flowers of Evil. R J Dent is currently writing a book about Emily Dickinson.
