We bought this item and have had three chicks succesufully, then it started smelling of hot plastic/ectric wiring type odour. Contacted seller and they would take it back subject to examination, but WE had to pay postage. So its still sitting in shed. We wont be buying anything alse from them!

A source of some discussion and prior research by the children. It arrived, slightly disappointingly from Korea, but that is the way of the world these days. It is exactly what we wanted, has surprise inserts for if we turn our hands to quails, and now we are excitedly awaiting its first success.
