After reading some mixed reviews on other websites I am so glad I took a chance and bought this excellent travel system. It is so light and easy to steer, even one-handed, I just zipp around the shops now with a basket in one hand and weaving the buggy in and out with the other! And with some bag clips (a pack of 2 for [...]!) I can hang a couple of bags off the handles no problem. I had a more traditional travel system before I bought my quinny (a siver cross3d) and there is absolutely no contest.

Collapsing it is so easy, you just remove the seat, lock the wheels, hold down a button and pull it down. And putting it back up again you just have to unclip a catch and it literally springs up! (Compared to the silver cross where you had to hold the handles, while pulling up on two catches, whilst pushing another catch down with your foot, and then sort of throwing the buggy outwards!) I also love the fact that you can have the seat facing you, as so many other buggy's just have it facing outwards and I want to be able to see my baby, especially in the first 6 months.

Another bonus is the changing bag that's included. Its a very good size - I can easily fit several nappies, wipes, nappy sacks, 2 bottles, a pot of food, a large thermos, muslin, my purse, phone and camera in it! The downside is that where it clips onto the back of the frame blocks the carry handle for when its collapsed, making it slightly awkward to handle. Also, if you're traveling in the car with the frame in the boot you can't get access to it unlike if you had a separate bag.

The rain cover, which again is included, has an elastic trim, so as with everything else, fitting it is so simple - you just stretch it over the head end and pull it down around the footrest.

I think its brilliant, my daughter looks comfy in it and it handles really well. It doesn't fit very well in my seat arosa but well enough for such a tiny tiny car!

The only thing i would say is that it doesn't have anywhere to put shopping unless you buy the shopping basket seperately...which is useful but in my opinion it should come with the quinny as standard.
A cheaper alternative to the shopping basket are the 'happy mummy hooks' that can attach to the handle bar. (I have them, they're brilliant)

The Quinny is all i wanted in a travel system for my daughter, it took me near enough my whole pregnancy to decide and i dont think i could beat it unless i spent 700 pounds on a icandy or bugga boo! (which is a rediculous price for a buggy when the Quinny does it all)

I bought the Quinny Buzz travel system and I have to say it suits the needs of my family very nicely. I started with the carry cot which I used for the first 6 months and it still looks immaculate, it worked with the rain cover that was supplied for the buggy. I find the changing bag really useful and I also bought the basket which is a little bit small (good for carrying the raincover). I swapped the front wheel for an all terrain wheel because I go off road a lot and I used the buggy a lot in the snow, so I found the all terrain wheel a good purchase. I found the maxi cosi seat really good (especially with the isofix). As another reviewer mentioned it is a bit tricky to get the car seat of the buggy chassis, but I have to say I did not find it impossible on my own, simply click the two buttons with your thumbs and lift the seat with your hands at the base of the carry handle. The thing I love about this buggy is that it can be steered one handed, very handy when you are walking the dogs! The ease at which it can be folded and unfolded is superb. I love the option to rear or forward face, although I would have preferred if a more upright sitting position was available for rear facing too. I bought the footmuff which at first I used with the maxi cosi seat (yes you can buy one specifically for the car seat, but I found the one for the pram worked with the seat, the carrycot and the buggy). The first one I bought had a faulty zip but I returned this to mothercare and it was replaced without quarrel, it keeps my daughter nice and cosy. My daughter is 16 months old now, and the buggy still looks immaculate, apart from the mud splatters from the fields which can easily be washed off! I use it to walk 2 - 3 miles over country roads and fields every day, and I use it if I go shopping in town.Read more ›
