3.0 out of 5 stars disappointed 11 Feb 2012
By ellen
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
this was not exactly what I expected. It involves bits of material and lumps of wool being added to a base fabric rather than a straightforward "quilting" project. I doubt I will use it but the pictures were interesting and could be adapted.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book to have 3 Nov 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Lots of 'technical' issues are explained here, such as how to use various overlays. Also explained are where to find inspiration, where to start, how to use photographs, how to make a simple drawing - even if you think can't draw. It is a great little book to have if you are thinking of starting out to make stitched landscapes.
