If we install windows 7 32 bit on a 64bit computer - will it still remain as 32bit operating system ?

Yes.

But there is no such thing as a 32 bit key, a Windows 7 key is universal, it will work with both a 32 bit and a 64 bit disc.

Buy this. Keep the key but throw away the 32 bit disc that comes with it. Borrow a Windows 7 64bit DVD from a friend. Install it, activate it with this key, will absolutely work fine.
