My son adores this, but already pieces have broken when being dismantled. It was also quite difficult to set up using the instructions and a lot of improvisation was necessary. When fully functioning it is very addictive, but the plastic rails are very flimsy and the connectors are easily snapped off.

Bought this for my 11 yr old son's b'day. Looks flimsy but is actually quite sturdy once built. Huge enjoyment building it with no adult supervision reqd and 6 weeks on he is still playing with it daily. Great science lesson. Highly recommend.

My son is eleven, bright and very determined, but after four hours of struggling even he had to admit defeat. The adults then interevened to no avail. The suspension mechanism is just far to difficult to get right, infact it is impossible (also the suspension is basically just glorified pieces of string). W'ere not stupid but even Einstein would get so annoyed with it that he would have to smash it with a hammer. Educational, yes, impossible, yes. Don't buy this toy!
