Small and large triangles can be easily joined together by interlocking the connecting pegs: the resulting structure is sturdy yet easy to take apart. 5 small triangles can be joined together to make a pentagon. 6 large triangles can be joined together to make a hexagon. When you want to build a sphere (or a hemisphere) each pentagon is connected to 5 hexagons. This is all you need to know to build spheres or other objects with distinctive patterns that can be more and more complex according to your skill level.
