The title of this book is a bit of a misnomer, since the book is actually written by John Yeoman. A clear case of using a famous name to sell something, I suppose.
Anyway back to the book itself. The stories are not very nice... they might make children 'think', but as a bedtime story book it is totally unsuitable. I bought it as such because it contains 14 short stories. They are not pleasant stories at all - the ones that I have read have a moral, but someone or something seems to die at the end of an alarming number of the stories.
Not a book for younger children - one to avoid I feel.
