Sprinkles and Mule/Kompakt come correct with a very fine and hypnotic collection of rare, beautiful and of course deep remixes from the genius works of Terre Thaemlitz (DJ Sprinkles) between the years 2006 to 2013. Most of this stuff only available on vinyl prior to this release so its a big deal to have it all compiled on two discs. If you loved Midtown 120 Blues then this is for you.

Terre's production is so clever and absorbing, unlike most dance music it sounds great in the background and in the party.
One of the best compilations of the year, go cop and enjoy the superb music of DJ Sprinkles.
This is just lovely, ethereal and haunting house music.

Top notch album of mid tempo chugging groove house with licks of melody and live instrumentation to bless your earholes. Some tracks just build and build blending a solid rhythm with gorgeous pads, samples and piano... a few "acidy' sounds dot about too.
Solid Solid tracks that can be enjoyed on headphones for deep immersion or slapped on the stereo or even used as a DJ tool.

GET IT.

Terre Taemlitz compiles 14 of his finest DJ Sprinkles remixes from the last three years over 2 discs. Includes standouts such as his 'Ambient Ballroom' remix of Oh, Yoko's 'Seashore' and Ducktail's 'Letter of Intent'.

If you like house music and trippy long remixes to get lost in this is your ticket home. Hypnotic, subliminal, whimsical, visionary, and addictive. Just slip that sucker into your favorite sound system and let time roll away. Maybe midway through the day/night change to the other discs. Both are equally high quality sonic bliss as Terre Thaemlitz in the D J Sprinkles guise has laid down some of the best work ever (as in anyone doing house who left home long ago).

Having a perchance for brilliance in a short time period, the very personal album on insight into time spent in New York inspired the Midtown 120 Blues as a possible 2008 album of the year candidate. Not to be missed or confused - a grand selection of choice cuts for the mix album on the Mule Musiq label Where Dancefloors Stand Still will leave you in your tracks if you stop long enough to ponder the depth of field at play. The mix, match, weave or artist known and unheard, all superb. Least and not last - the collection of songs by all the many muses doned with the You? Again? album also from Mule Musiq label from 2007 is a wide swath through the giant plethoa of musical influences concotted freehand by the wunderkind. Of many talents, artisitic intelligence, and world traveling experience all bring to bare in what you hear.

Regretfully I may have inadvenrtenly miffed him by blunt wording/something written - those actions take nothing away from the soul and master of the house as his home music. One very gifted individual who was never afraid to go where no one thought of before.
