3.0 out of 5 stars A primer for the straight, 30 Jan 2001

This review is from: A Queer Companion: Rough Guide to Gay Slang (Paperback)
This very slim volume - more of a pamphlet, really - provides a reasonable intro to queer slanguage. Its chief interest lies in its few references to 'parlare', the coded language once used by gays in (even) more oppressive times; the work is hardly exhaustive, though, so a more comprehensive edition is needed.
