Product Description
All 14 episodes from the fourth season of the popular American drama series. Based on the British series of the same name, it follows the lives of five gay men in Pittsburgh. In addition to the usual sexual escapades and relationships of the five friends, the show explores critical gay political and health issues. In this series, the characters face various challenges including same-sex parenting, discrimination, AIDS/HIV and cancer.

This is ok, but I think it was becoming more soap-opera & less gritty drama. It may be a sign of the times as QAF did set the benchmark, but the shock value it once had no longer has an impact. That said it's not a bad season, there are still some gem storylines but you kind of get the idea that the writers are running out of new ideas, hence less episodes and the decision no doubt to end it a season earlier than planned. I think that in this season (with the exception of Hunter maybe)there seems to be a lack of character development among the main cast.Don't let me put you off, if your a fan of the series then you'll still enjoy (I'll still be getting the final season to complete the set)but you may find like me that it's a plodder rather than a page turner.

I've had seen all episodes of every QAF season, and I am confident to say that this show portrays it all...the good, the bad, and the ugly. If you try to focus on the fact that there are stereo-typical scenes in the show, then thats all you'll see. However, it covers every living scenario gay or straight.

Entertaining piece of fiction
One of my favourite "gay" tv-shows. In my opinion it gets better in the later seasons because of deeper character development.
