About the Author
GORDON MACEY has supported Queen's Park Rangers since the early 60's and has amassed a wealth of data on all levels of the club from their formation through to the present day. As the Club's Official Historian for he is recognized by many areas of the media as the 'expert' on matters to with QPR and has provided material to many organizations including Sky Sports, football magazines and most of the national press. He has had published three previous books on the Club's history, including the successful Breedon Complete Record (first edition) and the Club's Millennium edition.

This book was bought as a gift for a Queens Park Rangers fan who thinks it is fantastic. It is full of interesting facts and information and a book you can pick up and read for any length of time.

I bought this as a Fathers' Day present for my Father-in-law, who followed QPR through the 50s and 60s and now lives in Australia. Coulped with his love of sporting histories, this book was always going to go down well with him... Suffice to say that he loves it.
From what I saw and read, there is plenty here for QPR fans, of a certain age, to dip into. In an ideal world there should be a chapter covering their recent promotion to the Premiership - I guess that'll be included in the next edition.
As a BRFC fan, I would love to have a similar history available for my club - I live in hope. Recommended.
