Big mouth. Big heart. Big problems. More hilarious, fast-moving fun from the author of THE PRINCESS DIARIES --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

Book Description

Lizzie Nichols has a problem, and it isn’t that she’s blowing her college graduation money on a trip to visit her long-distance boyfriend Andy in London. She just can’t keep anything to herself, including her indignation at finding out her beloved boyfriend wasn’t completely faithful to her during their separation. She’s now out on the streets with no money and a non-changeable airline ticket home for exactly a month away. Fortunately, Lizzie’s best friend, Shari, comes to the rescue. She’s spending the summer in the South of France catering weddings in a romantic sixteenth century chateau, and she’s able to sort Lizzie out with a job. One glimpse of the gorgeous Chateau Mirac, not to mention the equally gorgeous son of the owner, and Lizzie is hooked. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

big mouth , big heart 16 Aug 2006
Format:Hardcover
Have you ever let your mouth run away with you? This is what happens to our heroine Lizzie. She has a big heart and tries to say the right thing, but being so naive it always ends up doing more harm than good. Lizzie is slightly unbelievable in the beginnning of the book. No-one who has been to university, no matter how plump they were wouldn't, couldn't possibly be that naive. But the novel does pick up to the standard that we hae come to know and love from Meg Cabot. So we are left with the warm fuzzies.

I brought this book and read it in three days. I had already read Size 12 is not fat so I thought I would give this one a go. I think the book is very good and easy to read and is also funny in places. It is written typically of Meg Cabot and her style. The main character is likeable and so are the others. The Grandma is especially funny though. It is also quite an inspirational read too.It is however quite predictable in places. Read it if you're looking for something light and easy and not too challenging.

Not bad 24 July 2011

This series is a light read, predictable (it feels as if you have already read the story somewhere), and kind of silly. But still it is a very fast read and somehow entertaining. I will not throw them away (which is what I do with books I didn't like).

Meg Cabot is a fab writer but sadly this book really lacks in her usual fun and romantic style. Like another reviewer said the storyline is very slow to begin with - it was so slow... Read more
