I originally bought this album on MP3 from the Babe Ruth website but didn't hesitate to buy again when released on CD.
Less compressed in sound the CD shows just what a truly brilliant return to the fray Que Pasa is. With an eclectic mixture of Beats, Rock, Club, Latin and Hip Hop the band have produced one of the most enjoyable albums I have heard in a while.
The lineup is the classic of Dave Hewitt, Ed Spevock, Jenny Haan, Dave Punshon and Alan Shacklock and trust me, they power their way though a set of good solid songs with a classic sound and a very modern twist. Particularly impressive is Jenny Haan's voice which has lost non of it's power and verve.
I'm not going to review each track as time is limited and boredom sets in. Just buy the CD, put it on a decent system, turn the volume way up and luxuriate in a good solid rock album with some very different influences.
It'll cost you a lot less than a round at the pub and give a lot more pleasure.
