A flat-packed dinosaur for just a couple of pounds!
Can't be bad.
Nice little present (and really light & easy for posting too).
Covers a fairly wide age-range too (little ones can watch Mum or Dad making it, older ones can 'help' find the right pieces etc. and still older ones can get on with it by themselves).
I have used various of these for children from 3yrs up to 6yrs or so.
It would probably be fine for children a bit older too, who I guess could paint it etc. if wanted - paint not included!.
The pleasure is in making it, and looking at the finished product. It is definitely a model rather than a toy, and I doubt it would last long if 'played with' (certainly by smaller children).
It isn't really designed for that though and I haven't tested it!
I guess you could probably make it more robust by purchasing glue & sticking the pieces in place, but it probably isn't worth it (we haven't).
I guess that you can dismantle & re-make the models if you wish (though some care might be needed to avoid damaging the pieces).
Overall a good few minutes of entertainment for a wide range of ages at little cost and with an end result they can have on their bookshelf or whatever to admire.
