I've found Lysine works well as an everyday balm. I feel vulnerable to cold sore flare ups without it. I have had far fewer flare ups since using it and definitly less severe. Pharmacy treatments do nothing for me even at the tingle stage so I now by pass them all together in favour of Lysine as a preventative measure. It's difficult to find - 'Wholefoods' stores sell it but it's often out of stock so I prefer to stock pile online.

I've tried the rest and they make my cold sore bigger wetter and icky to heal, but now i use this, it stops it from even developing, i don't get the wet spots, it doesn't scab and stops itching immediately. Its also cheaper than some other treatments, and best of all its totally natural. I love it so much I've bought a couple extra to have at work and bag, so I'm never without it.

I really liked this cold sore treatment because it went on clear rather than the white creams I have used previously. It cleared my cold sore up in the same amount of time as other treatments I have used, but this treatment has the added bonus of being completely natural.

This stuff works for me
I have used Lysine for a few years now and it works for me. It far less agressive than other treatments causing a lot less irritation to the skin surrounding the sore. Read more

IT WORKS
Thought I would try Lysine+, as I suffer regulalrly throughout the year from cold sores. It works, the sore on my lip was gone within 4 to 5 days.

What Cold Sore?
I had tried many other remedies for cold sores but none have been as successful as Quantum Lysine cold Sore cream, which I first found on a trip to the USA in autumn 2008.
