Product Description

Product Description

Combining physics, philosophy and psychology, this book offers a revolutionary theory of the origins and nature of consciousness in terms of the new physics, pointing the way towards a new vision of the human self and its relationships, hence a new "quantum psychology" and a new "quantum morality". Written in an accessible style that makes quantum physics comprehensible, this book aims to interest anyone interested in the dynamics of the human personality and its dialogue with the physical world. The author has also written "Through the Time Barrier: A Study of Precognition and Modern Physics".

5.0 out of 5 stars The most important book since the Bible?, 28 Dec 2000

This review is from: The Quantum Self (Hardcover)
In this thought-provoking book Danah Zohar examines the theory that consciousness itself is part of the quantum realm and in doing so, raises issues that challenge our perception of the universe. "The wave/particle duality ....becomes the most primary mind/body relationship....we recognise (the core of that) as the mental and physical aspects of life" I gave up physics at the age of 14 and yet even I was able to follow (not without some challenge it must be admitted) the thinking in this vital introduction to quantum psychology. This is surely the answer to the philosophical questions that have obsessed us for so long...I urge you to read it
