Product Description

Twelve episodes from Season 2 of the sci-fi series starring Scott Bakula as Dr. Sam Beckett, a time-travelling scientist. Sam gets trapped inside his own 'Quantum Leap' experiment, and leaps into the bodies of people whose problems only he can solve. Joined by the hologram projection of his wise-cracking adviser Al (Dean Stockwell), Sam has to help each person he leaps into before he can leave, all the while hoping that the next leap will get him home. Episodes comprise: 'Honeymoon Express'; 'Disco Inferno'; 'The Americanization of Machiko'; 'What Price Gloria?'; 'Blind Faith'; 'Good Morning, Peoria'; 'Thou Shalt Not'; 'Jimmy'; 'So Help Me God'; 'Catch a Falling Star'; 'A Portrait For Troian' and 'Animal Frat'.

Synopsis

Scott Bakula (Star Trek - Enterprise) stars as brilliant scientist Sam Beckett, who in experimenting with time travel, loses himself in a perpetual warp that catapults him into the bodies and lives of random people throughout time. While he temporarily inhabits a person's body, Sam also must solve a problem or mystery in that person's life, the solving of which triggers another jump. Continually trying to find a way to his home time, Sam has the help of Rear Admiral Albert 'Al' Calavicci (Dean Stockwell), who appears, only to Sam, in hologram form, and the supercomputer Ziggy (voiced by Deborah Pratt), which provides clues for solving each episode's mystery.
