beware of these add-on wireless charger receivers. as they have three main problems:
1) the time required to fully charge the phone is CONSIDERABLY increased.
2) Positioning must be absolutely MILLIMITER-PRECISE. place the phone a single millimeter in any other position but the precise optimal charging position and it won't work. this is very easy to do once you place the phone on the charger, the screen turns on to inform you of that and you press the screen off switch. that tiny movement is enough to interrupt the charging.
3) far most troubling, by design these receivers cover the connectors (pins) used by the telephone for all NFC functions (Near Field Contact, the "use by touch" made famous by Oyster cards in the UL). installing one of them instantly loses you the capacity to eg: transfer sound tracks/photos/documents/files phone-to-phone by touching them, as well as other things like "pay by touch" and ALL NFC - related functionality.
You should know that the Samsung branded wireless charger BACK COVER (with or without the s-view case) are still sensitive to positioning but to a much lesser degree. I bought an S-View wireless charger cover and so far i've had no problems with using the phone's NFC functions YET, i'll update this review if i notice any problems.
One final piece of advice: the Samsung branded wireless charger pad is TINY, making precise positioning AND checking the led for charging status and problems a real pain. there are non-Samsung made devices, but still compatible with the Qi standard, which are MUCH LARGER, as large as the phone, in fact, and i've read that these devices do not require the same degree of precise positioning, so it's something you should look into before you buy.
